- The first shot of the match on frame came in the 24th minute as Radford’s Gabriele Sellati struck a shot toward goal but right at Euan Brindley
- The first shot of the game for the Eagles found the back of the net as Jorge Perez set up Juma Baden as he finished into the top left corner
- Winthrop doubled its lead in the 55th minute as Alfie Humphrey passed to Baden who finished to the lower right corner for his second goal of the match
- The Highlanders got on the board in the 62nd minute when Hugo Roman set up Noel Zimbeva for the goal
- Winthrop pushed its lead back to two goals in the 70th minute when Daniel Restrepo set up Jorge Perez who finished with a shot into the upper portion of the goal

- The two teams combined for a total of 28 fouls in the match
- Radford had an 11-8 edge in total shots and 4-3 in shots on goal
- Baden has now scored a goal in six straight games
- He is the first Eagle since Franco Wakhisi to score a goal in six straight games
