Primary Elections

York County Sheriff, Republican Primary

Tony Breeden

A retired lieutenant from the Rock Hill Police Department, Tony Breeden brings over 27 years of policing experience. A Marine Corps veteran, Breeden emphasizes a leadership style that involves standing alongside his officers and the community, fostering mutual respect and trust. Beth Bryant Tolson

Representing a deep-rooted legacy in local law enforcement, Beth Bryant Tolson has over 30 years of experience at the York County Sheriff’s Office and Solicitor’s Office. As the daughter and wife of former Sheriffs Bruce Bryant and Kevin Tolson, respectively, she aims to continue a family tradition of dedicated community service. Her roles have ranged from patrol officer to detective specializing in juvenile sex crimes, and more recently as a DUI and domestic violence investigator. Michael Belk

With a 31-year tenure at the Rock Hill Police Department, Deputy Chief Michael Belk’s career has spanned numerous roles, including Patrol Officer, Narcotics Investigator, and SWAT Team Commander. Belk, a South Carolina Army National Guard veteran, holds a degree in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. Chris Blevins

Chris Blevins is a seasoned veteran with 25 years at the York County Sheriff’s Office, where he served in capacities ranging from Patrol Deputy to ACT Lieutenant and District Commander. In 2013 and again in 2015, Blevins was awarded the South Carolina Sheriff’s Association Medal of Valor. His extensive field experience and leadership in tactical operations highlight his candidacy. Heath Clevenger

A second-generation deputy, Heath Clevenger retired as a Lieutenant and Tactical Commander of the S.W.A.T. team after 25 years of service in York County. His campaign focuses on enhancing community trust, supporting deputies, and leading intelligence-driven enforcement to improve safety. York County Solicitor, Republican Primary

Kevin Brackett

Kevin Brackett, the  Solicitor for the 16th Judicial Circuit, proudly announces his intention to seek re-election. With over 30 years of dedicated service in criminal justice, including 16 years as the elected leader, Brackett has been at the forefront of prosecuting significant cases, including thousands of homicides and violent crimes. His office has maintained the most efficient docket in South Carolina for over 25 years.

Brackett’s extensive experience extends to advising legislative panels at both state and national levels and lecturing to legal professionals across the country. He serves on the South Carolina Prosecution Commission and represents the state’s prosecutors on the Board of the National District Attorney’s Association.

Family plays a central role in his life; he is supported by his wife, Susan, who works in the Fort Mill School District, and his daughter, Molly, his greatest joy.

Tyler Bratton

Tyler Bratton, a lifelong resident of Rock Hill, South Carolina, has deep roots in York County, dating back to 1766. A Clemson University graduate in pre-medicine and business management, Tyler furthered his legal education at the Charleston School of Law. His career began under the mentorship of Judge Lee S. Alford in the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit, where he developed a profound respect for justice.

Tyler’s experience as a prosecutor in Conway, South Carolina, enriched his understanding of community challenges, shaping his approach to differentiate between those needing rehabilitation and habitual offenders. Now a public defender in Union and York Counties, he applies his broad perspective to advocate effectively for fair resolutions, balancing the needs of the community, victims, defendants, and law enforcement.

Tyler’s values, deeply influenced by his family and Tirzah Presbyterian Church, emphasize integrity, hard work, and community service. Outside of his legal work, he is active in local initiatives, including serving on the Board of Directors for Bethelwoods Children’s Camp and Conference Center. Tyler’s commitment to justice and community well-being is evident both in and out of the courtroom.

South Carolina House District 66, Republican Primary

Jackie Terribile

Jackie Terribile, a committed advocate for conservative values, is running for House Representative in South Carolina’s District 66. Currently serving on the South Carolina State Board of Education representing the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit, Jackie is dedicated to advancing education, liberty, and economic prosperity. Residing in Fort Mill with her family, her involvement in the local education system underscores her commitment to representing parental interests.

With a Bachelor’s in Communications and Rhetoric from the University of New York at Albany, Jackie’s extensive background spans over 15 years in business and marketing, contributing to notable publications like parents.com and businessinsider.com. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish a successful consulting firm that collaborates with high-profile organizations, enhancing their societal impact.

Additionally, Jackie’s role as a substitute teacher provides her with firsthand insight into the educational challenges and opportunities, further amplifying her advocacy for educational improvements. Her leadership was particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she opposed stringent lockdowns and significantly expanded the local Moms for Liberty chapter.

Her campaign is driven by a commitment to uphold constitutional values and empower women within her community. Michelle Branning

Michele, originally from Indiana, moved to Fort Mill in 2007, captivated by its outstanding public schools and small-town charm. Since then, she has deeply engaged in the community, serving on the Fort Mill School Board as a Trustee since 2014, including roles as Vice Chairman and Chair of the Policy Committee, and as a legislative liaison.

Currently the President of the South Carolina School Board Association (SCSBA), Michele has climbed to the highest rank within the organization, achieving Level 6 of the SCSBA Boardmanship Institute, reflecting her exceptional commitment to enhancing her leadership skills.

Her dedication extends beyond her official roles. Michele co-founded the inaugural Parent Teacher Organization at Pleasant Knoll Elementary, led significant educational initiatives such as the 2013 Bond Referendum, and has been actively involved in School Improvement Councils and various FMSD committees.

Michele’s service is also marked by her presidency at the Fort Mill Rotary, where she earned multiple ‘Rotarian of the Year’ awards and organized impactful service projects and fundraising events. Her professional background as an entrepreneur, realtor, and small business owner equips her with vital skills in financial management and customer service, strengthening her conservative approach to ensure fiscal responsibility while representing the interests of District 66 residents as their State Representative in Columbia.

Elizabeth Enns

Elizabeth Enns is a dedicated conservative, running for State Representative in District 26. With 17 years of service in York County, including co-founding and pastoring Antioch International Church in Fort Mill with her husband Jesse, Elizabeth has a deep-rooted connection to her community. Her extensive involvement includes serving as the Legislative Committee Chair for the York County GOP and currently leading the Sugar Creek Republican Women’s club.

Elizabeth founded Patriotic Students of America in 2021, fostering patriotism among youth through educational clubs and camps. She also launched the 90/10 initiative, emphasizing solutions-based approaches to local issues. A former classroom teacher, Elizabeth applies her educational experience to raise her three sons, whom she has supported in starting their own business and becoming community leaders in Fort Mill.

David Martin

David Martin, a third-generation native of Fort Mill, is deeply rooted in the conservative and blue-collar values instilled by his parents. A former multi-sport athlete and graduate of Coastal Carolina University with honors in Political Science, David has demonstrated leadership both on and off the field. His academic prowess was acknowledged through his membership in several honor societies, and he further honed his leadership skills as the quarterback of his college football team.

After obtaining his legal education at Charlotte School of Law, David founded the David W. Martin Law Group in Fort Mill. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded to eight offices with twenty-two employees and has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.

Now a devoted father and a committed community member, David is entering the political arena as a candidate for the South Carolina House of Representatives in District 26. His campaign focuses on protecting conservative values, reducing government and tax burdens, supporting public education, and safeguarding individual freedoms. With a life guided by a strong moral compass, David Martin is dedicated to serving and representing the interests of his community and state.
