It was a banner day for Fort Mill athletics as the Yellow Jackets swarmed their competition, securing a series of hard-fought victories. From narrow overtime thrills to dominant defensive displays, the Fort Mill faithful had plenty to cheer about.
Lacrosse: A Clean Sweep on the Turf
The lacrosse program took center stage, with three different squads finding the win column in dramatic fashion.

Boys Varsity: In the marquee matchup of the night, the Yellow Jackets edged out Clover in a 9–8 defensive battle. It was a game of chess that came down to the final possessions, but Fort Mill’s disciplined backline held firm to secure the one-goal victory.

Boys JV: The younger Jackets set the tone early against Clover, putting on an offensive clinic. Precise passing and aggressive transition play led to a commanding 11–4 win, proving the future of the program is in steady hands.

Girls Varsity: Perhaps the most intense game of the night occurred against Charlotte Latin. In a high-scoring affair that saw momentum swing wildly, the Yellow Jackets showed incredible resilience to pull off an 11–10 win against a perennially tough out-of-state opponent.
Tennis: Dominance on the Hardcourt
Over on the tennis courts, the Fort Mill boys’ team continued their pursuit of region dominance with a convincing 5–1 victory over Rock Hill.
The Yellow Jackets took control early in the singles matches, using superior conditioning and baseline consistency to frustrate the Bearcats. By the time the doubles matches rolled around, the result was all but academic, further cementing Fort Mill as a powerhouse in the area this season.
