The Nation Ford girls’ tennis team extended its undefeated season Tuesday, topping rival Catawba Ridge 4-2. The victory marked the first meeting between the two schools this year and improved the Falcons’ record to 4-0.

Nation Ford secured key singles victories at the top of their lineup. No. 1 singles player Ansley McDonald defeated the Copperheads’ Skylar White 6-2, 6-1, while No. 2 player Piper Land topped Gracyn Root 6-2, 6-3.

The Falcons hope to maintain their perfect start to the season when they travel to Clover on Thursday.
