Famous Toastery Closes in Tega Cay

After more than a decade serving breakfast and brunch favorites, Famous Toastery has closed its Tega Cay location at 2429 Highway 160. A sign posted on the door confirms the permanent closure.

The restaurant had been a community staple since opening 11 years ago, known for family brunches, casual meetups, and a steady local following. Its closing leaves a noticeable gap in the area’s dining scene.

While the reason for the closure has not been publicly announced, the Tega Cay Sun is aware of what will be moving into the space and will release that news in conjunction with the new restaurant’s announcement.

For now, the space sits empty, marking the end of an era for a well-loved spot — and the beginning of something new soon to be revealed.
