The Rock Hill-Fort Mill Area Transportation Study (RFATS) is inviting the public to participate in a key meeting on July 18, aimed at gathering input for the update of its Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). The session will take place at the Unity Presbyterian Church – Historic Sanctuary Room, located at 303 Tom Hall Street.
The LRTP is a crucial document that outlines transportation needs, preferences, and priorities for the next 20-25 years within the RFATS area. This comprehensive plan ensures that the region’s transportation infrastructure can support future growth and development.
RFATS encompasses a diverse range of communities, including the cities of Tega Cay and Rock Hill, the Town of Fort Mill, the Catawba Nation, the Lake Wylie Area, and the panhandle of Lancaster County. Public participation in this meeting is essential for addressing the unique transportation challenges and opportunities within these areas.
Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and share their perspectives to help shape the future of transportation in the region.
