Tega Cay Hosts Quarterly Safety Meeting and Employee Recognition Ceremony

On December 13, 2024, the City of Tega Cay held its Quarterly Safety Meeting, celebrating the hard work and dedication of its employees. The event highlighted achievements, recognized outstanding performance, and reinforced the importance of workplace safety across all departments.

Employee of the Year Awards

  • Office Employee of the Year: Caroline Hasty, the city’s Events Manager, was celebrated for her exceptional organizational skills and dedication to creating memorable community events.
  • Field Employee of the Year: Robbie Sims from the Public Works Department was honored for his consistent hard work and commitment to maintaining the city’s facilities and infrastructure.
  • Director of the Year: Bob Bartkin, Finance Director, received this prestigious award in recognition of his leadership and effective financial stewardship, ensuring the city’s fiscal health.

Employee of the Quarter Awards

  • Field Employee of the Quarter: Corbin Thomas, a valued member of the Utilities Department, was recognized for his exemplary work in maintaining and improving utility services.
  • Office Employee of the Quarter: Sgt. Timbs of the Tega Cay Police Department (TCPD) received accolades for his outstanding contributions to public safety and departmental operations.

Honoring Employee Milestones and Recognitions

Engineer Stan Hutton was recognized for his five years of dedicated service to the city. His commitment and expertise have been instrumental in maintaining the city’s safety and emergency response standards.
