- Eagles earned a penalty in the 8th minute as Daniel Restrepo just beat the keeper to a through ball inside the box to draw the foul in the box
- Juma Baden stepped in to take the kick but his attempt was low and wide to the left
- The teams went into halftime scoreless
- Panthers opened the scoring in the 53rd minute as Enzo Rekka’s cross in front of goal was headed home by Daniel Lugo
- Shion Hayashi had free look on goal from about 25 yards out straight on as he fired a shot on frame but Josh Caron was there for the save
- Panthers doubled their lead in the 68th minute as Anthony Ramirez sent a long ball to the edge of the box as Alfred Baafi headed the ball down to Lugo who placed a shot into the lower right corner
- Jorge Perez tried to get the Eagles on the board as he was free down the middle and fired a shot toward goal that was saved by Caron

- The Panthers finished with a 12-11 edge in total shots and 5-4 in shots on goal
- Caron had four saves for the Panthers while Kevin Christensen finished with three for the Eagles
