Rock Hill, S.C. – The Big South Conference announced its midseason men’s soccer player watch list on Thursday that included Winthrop’s Sam Crolla, Juma Baden and Jorge Perez.
Crolla has started all six matches as a defender and is tied for the team-lead in minutes played with 518. Baden has started all six games as well and leads the Eagles with five goals and two assists (12 points). Perez has five starts and appeared in all six matches and is second on the team with three goals and tied for second in points (6). Crolla and Baden were also named to the preseason watch list.
The Eagles are 3-3 on the year as they head to Radford, Va. on Saturday, Sept. 19 for their Big South Conference opener at 3 p.m.
