Kenneth Hall and Gary Martin closed with a net 102 on Sunday to win Flight 1 of the Tega Cay Men’s Golf Association Member Member tournament at Tega Cay Golf Club, finishing at net 212 and 4 under for two days.
Justin Sandler and Justin Adams won Flight 2 at net 216, even par, holding the lead they shared after Saturday’s opening round.
Both flights turned on Sunday. Hall and Martin sat in a tie for seventh in Flight 1 after Saturday’s alternate shot and shamble rounds at net 110, seven shots behind the leaders. They made all of it back and more on the final nine holes of each course, playing the Carolina Pines nine in a net 32 under a best ball format and the Grand View nine in a net 70 under both ball scoring. Their 102 tied for the low Sunday round in the flight.
Alfred Scaroina and Rigo Castillo and the team of Rob Tucker and Thomas Hyslip finished tied for second at net 214. Scaroina and Castillo climbed from a tie for ninth on the strength of a 103 Sunday. Tucker and Hyslip led the flight after Saturday at net 102 but gave the lead back with a net 79 on the both ball nine, where teams had to count each player’s net score on every hole.
Paul Liles and Tim Wyatt made the largest single day move of the tournament in either flight. They stood in a tie for 14th after Saturday, then went out in a net 30 on the best ball nine, 6 under and the second lowest nine of the weekend, and finished fourth at net 215.
John Daly and Clinton Daly, who were fourth after Saturday, withdrew during Sunday’s both ball round.

Flight 2
Sandler and Adams built their win Saturday, when a net 34 in alternate shot and a net 70 in the shamble left them tied for the lead. A Sunday 112 was enough to hold off two teams that finished a shot back.
Zachary Musick and Travis Pippin nearly ran them down. Twelfth after Saturday at net 115, they posted a net 29 on the best ball nine, 7 under and the lowest nine of the tournament, added a 73 in both ball, and jumped to a tie for second at net 217. Steve Menchinger and Jim Popa shared the other tie for second at 217 after sharing the Saturday lead.
Jeff Roesler and Rich Padgett tied Robert Kraft and Larry Elia for fourth at net 219.
