Rivalry bragging rights and conference positioning will be on the line Monday night as the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets host the Catawba Ridge Copperheads in a highly anticipated girls lacrosse matchup. Scheduled for a 7 p.m. start at Fort Mill High School, the matchup features two programs looking to find their footing in the mid-season stretch.

Fort Mill enters the game with a 2-3 record, looking to bounce back and even their season standing on their home turf. The Yellow Jackets have shown flashes of dominance but will face a disciplined Catawba Ridge squad that sits at 2-4 and is hungry for a signature road win.
While the girls’ varsity teams battle at Fort Mill, the boys’ program will mirror the rivalry just a few miles away. The Fort Mill boys’ team (7-1) travels to Catawba Ridge (3-4) for a 7:15 p.m. start.
