Local resident Alex Rebman has kicked off his collegiate career with top academic honors, earning a spot on the prestigious Clemson University President’s List for the Fall 2025 semester.
Rebman, a freshman pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, achieved a flawless 4.0 grade point average during his very first semester on campus.
The President’s List represents one of Clemson University’s highest academic distinctions. To qualify for the honor, undergraduate students must earn a 4.0 GPA while completing a minimum of 12 graded semester hours, excluding any coursework taken on a Pass/No Pass basis.
Navigating the transition to a rigorous university computing program can be challenging, making a perfect GPA in the inaugural semester a particularly impressive achievement for the Tega Cay native.
Congratulations to Alex on a fantastic start to his academic journey at Clemson!
One of the most productive public research universities in the nation, Clemson attracts and unites students and faculty whose greatest desire is to make a difference in the lives of others — starting with our neighbors in South Carolina and extending globally in the areas of health, agriculture, engineering and mobility.
