It was a weekend that reminded everyone why they play the game. Under clear skies and on a course that is finally starting to “green up,” the Tega Cay Men’s Golf Association gathered for the 2026 President’s Cup. The conditions were fast, the weather was excellent, and the competition was even better.
While many stood out, the weekend belonged to Dan Manes, who put on a ball-striking clinic to claim the title of Overall Champion and a reserved parking spot for the year.

Next Up: The Lone Ranger Returns
Looking ahead, the TCMGA is bringing back a fan favorite: The Lone Ranger. Scheduled for Saturday, April 11th, this is a 3-man blind draw (A, B, and C players) designed to help members meet new people in a high-energy format. It features a “Han Solo” style where one player carries the net score on a rotating schedule of holes while the other two play a captain’s choice. The event is an 8:00 am shotgun start, ensuring everyone is off the course in time to catch the afternoon action of Masters Weekend.
Final Thoughts
With the President’s Cup in the books and the course conditions improving by the day, the TCMGA season is officially in high gear. Congratulations to Dan Manes on his championship win and to all the flight winners who capitalized on a perfect weekend at Tega Cay.
