Three 19-year-old York County men have been arrested in connection with the alleged vandalism of Flock cameras in Chester County.
The Chester County Sheriff’s Office said cameras located on Harmony Church Road in Edgemoor went offline earlier this month. When deputies investigated, they discovered the cameras had been cut down.
James Ryerson, Samuel Carlisle and Blaze Fuller were arrested and charged with conspiracy and vandalism.
Flock cameras are automated license plate reader systems used by law enforcement to assist with investigations by recording vehicle information passing through designated locations.
The arrests come after three similar automated license plate reader cameras were reportedly cut down in Pageland in July. The incidents prompted an investigation that remains active.
The Chester County investigation remains ongoing.
