The Nation Ford High School marching band has started its 2025 competitive season with a massive victory, taking home the top honors at the prestigious C. Phillip McIntyre Tournament of Bands this weekend.
Performing their show, “Out of the Blue,” the Nation Ford band not only secured the title of Class 7A, Gold Division Grand Champions but also clinched the coveted overall Grand Champions title for the entire tournament. Adding to their impressive haul, the band’s visual ensemble was recognized with the Best Colorguard award.

The band’s next performance is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, at BandBeat, at Catawba Ridge High School.
