SCDOT to close part of Harris Street in York County for repairs

Columbia, S.C. (July 11, 2025) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close part of Harris Street in Fort Mill to make road repairs beginning July 14. This work is expected to last until August.

As part of this closure, a signed detour route will be put in place. A map of the closure can be found below.

SCDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes, if possible and asks drivers to slow down and pay attention to crews and signs when driving near a work zone.
