Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC Host Christmas Tree Lighting Event at Bank of America Stadium

Charlotte, NC – On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 5 p.m., a Tree Lighting Festival hosted jointly by the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC is set to take place outside Bank of America Stadium. This event, scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. at the intersection of Graham and Mint Streets, is open to the public at no cost, although ticket reservations are required. Tickets are available here.

The festival’s highlight, a tree lighting ceremony at 7 p.m., will showcase a magnificent 50-foot Norway Spruce from Newland, North Carolina, adorned with over 50,000 twinkling lights. This tree, positioned just outside the Bank of America Stadium, will remain a festive feature throughout the holiday season.

Attendees can look forward to appearances by special guests, including the TopCats, Black & Blue Crew, Purrcussion, Sir Purr, Sir Minty, and Santa Claus himself. On-site food trucks will offer a variety of food and beverages for purchase.

The street festival will also include numerous activities and attractions, such as complimentary hot cocoa, photo opportunities, letter writing stations, a holiday movie screening, and a fleece-making station. Additionally, there will be a Carolina Panthers/Charlotte FC themed ‘Color-Your-Own Snow Globe’ station for attendees to enjoy.

Please note that the NFL’s Clear Bag Policy will be enforced during the event. Only transparent bags made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC, and smaller than 12″x6″x12″, will be permitted after inspection. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited at the festival.
