Tega Cay, SC (Tega Cay Sun) – The York County Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum tonight, October 25th at 6:30pm. The five candidates for city council will be present and answer questions on key topics and present their vision for the city.
The event is open to the public and will be held in the city council chambers in the lower level of the Glennon Center, Tega Cay, SC. If you can’t attend in person, the event will be live streamed on the city’s YouTube channel at https://bit.ly/3Md1qoF

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. In 2 short years he has won 10 awards from the South Carolina Press Association, including first place in column writing, education beat reporting and best podcast.
