Fort Mill Losing Their Town Manager

Fort Mill, SC (Tega Cay Sun) – David Broom’s tenure with the Town of Fort Mill will come to end this Friday after 23 years.

He assumed the role of Town Manager in October of 2018, having previously served as the Public Works Director. According to his LinkedIn Profile he was previously employed by Duke Eneregy for 11 years.

His impending departure from the town is set for Friday, August 11th. The Town Council is scheduled to convene on Tuesday afternoon to discuss further information regarding an interim manager. Presently, the town has two Assistant Town Managers, namely Chris Pettit and Eric Davis.

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching.
