As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering impactful local news, we have proactively reached out to the candidates running in the Statewide Primary on June 11th. We invited them to submit a letter introducing themselves, explaining their reasons for running, and outlining the issues they are passionate about.
We will not manipulate their answers in any way, we’ll simply provide it to you, our readers. This will allow you to make an informed choice. The order was determined by response time to our inquiry.
We’ll begin with Jackie Terribile, who is running for State of Representatives, District 66.

###
As a mother, nothing matters more to me than safeguarding my children. Ensuring my family’s well-being is why my husband and I chose Fort Mill as our home, where our two sons attend school in the district.
For much of my career, I’ve been organizing people to achieve great things in business and marketing. My diverse professional background spans over 15 years in business and marketing, during which I have contributed articles to respected platforms such as parents.com and businessinsider.com. However, as proud as I am of these accomplishments, politics, as the Declaration of Independence suggests, is about more than just survival—it’s about pursuing happiness.
As a parent and citizen, I believe in actively participating in our community. We deserve a government that listens to our concerns and takes meaningful action. Our children deserve nothing less than excellence, and together, we can achieve greatness for them.
That’s why I became a substitute teacher in Fort Mill—to understand our educational system’s challenges first hand. It’s why I stood against COVID-19 lockdowns and grew the York County Chapter of Moms for Liberty, empowering hundreds of families. It’s why I founded The Fierce Mom Workshop, empowering moms to advocate for their families and rights. And it’s why I now serve on the South Carolina State Board of Education.
All of these efforts are rooted in my love for family, community, and the principles that made America great. They are why I’m running to be the State Representative for District 66.
Together, we’ll send a clear message to Columbia that South Carolina deserves better than our current education system. There’s no place for radical gender ideology shaping our children’s education. We’ll empower teachers to create safe, productive learning environments and ensure transparency between schools and parents. We’ll enhance math and literacy outcomes, implement evidence-based literacy programs, and champion school choice.
But reform doesn’t stop at education. We’ll support law enforcement, address veterans’ needs, and defend our Second Amendment rights. We’ll demand transparency and accountability in the pharmaceutical industry and fight for serious judicial reform.
I’ll use my business skills to promote economic growth, fiscal responsibility, and policies that support our small businesses.
It’s time to reject wasteful spending and policies that strangle our businesses. It’s time to hold our government accountable.
The people of District 66 will uphold our government’s foundational values—of the people, by the people, and for the people. Together, we emphasize the importance of moral principles and the distinction between right and wrong in our governance.
President Eisenhower once said, “If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.”
President Eisenhower’s words remind us that it is time to advocate for a brighter future for our children. Eisenhower faced a border crisis during his presidency as well, and in my role in the legislature, I will have the same resolve he had to protect the rights of legal citizens, restore the rule of law, and do everything in my power to make sure South Carolina is not a sanctuary state for illegal aliens.
I’m not alone in this fight. I’m proud to have the endorsements of these conservative leaders in South Carolina: US Representative Ralph Norman, Current SC Representative David O’Neal, South Carolina Senator Wes Climer, York County Councilman Tom Audette, York County Councilwoman Debi Cloninger, York County Councilman Watts Huckabee, Tega Cay Mayor Chris Gray, Fort Mill School Board Trustee Joe Helms, Rock Hill School Board Trustee Pete Nosal, Rock Hill School Board Trustee James Burns, Tega Cay Councilman Tom Hyslip, and Tega Cay Councilman Scott Shirley.
If you share my vision for a brighter future, join me. Together we can be a part of something great and keep this seat truly conservative.
Yours, Jackie
