“Ghosts of the Revolution,” funded in part by an SC250 grant, brings living history to Catawba Park on Halloween night

“It is an honor to be the recipient of the SC250 grant,” said Events Manager Caroline Hasty for the City of Tega Cay. “We are thrilled to work with Sigmon Theatre to bring an immersive experience to Tega Cay that tells the exciting story of our country’s history 250 years ago. Sigmon Theatre will produce the performances.”
Pumpkin Palooza
Now in its third year, Pumpkin Palooza is a Tega Cay original and a growing fall tradition. Residents, families, clubs, church groups and organizations carve jack-o’-lanterns for a chance to win prizes and a trophy in three categories: Most Creative, Most Complicated and Best Traditional. The pumpkins will be displayed at the city sign by Memorial Gardens, lit by string lights each evening from dusk until dark, Tuesday, Oct. 27 through Halloween night.
Trunk-or-Treat at the Glennon Center
On Halloween, children can enjoy a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating at the Glennon Center parking lot from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The event features music from a DJ, a costume contest for all ages sponsored by the Tega Cay Lions and plenty of candy.
