Columbia, S.C. (October 9, 2026) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct lane closures on I-77 northbound over Celanese Road (SC 161) and Cherry Road (US 21) for repairs in York County beginning Sunday, October 11.
The two right lanes of I-77 northbound between mile markers 81 and 82 will be closed until Thursday, October 15, pending any weather delays.
The lane closures are needed to perform ongoing deck repair work on the bridges over Celanese Road and Cherry Road.
