Re:Build Manufacturing to Expand York County Footprint with $20 Million Facility and 150 New Jobs

Re:Build, an integrated engineering and advanced manufacturing firm, has announced plans to expand its advanced composites operations in York County. The company is investing approximately $20 million to open a new 130,000-square-foot facility in Rock Hill, a move expected to create 150 skilled manufacturing and engineering jobs.

The expansion site, located at 2021 Williams Industrial Blvd., will support the company’s accelerated growth across the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Re:Build operates 12 U.S. locations—including an existing facility in Rock Hill—where it designs, engineers, and produces complex components for sectors ranging from medical and energy to robotics and electrification.

Operations at the new facility are scheduled to come online in November 2026.

“Our customers are scaling faster than ever, and this expansion is how we scale with them,” said Re:Build Co-Founder and CEO Miles Arnone. “By investing boldly in these capabilities, we’re giving our customers the capacity, speed, and consistency they need to move complex programs from development into full-rate production and to do it at a scale few can match.”

State and local officials praised the expansion as a key boost to South Carolina’s advanced manufacturing footprint.

“South Carolina continues to strengthen our manufacturing footprint, giving companies like Re:Build the confidence to expand here,” said Governor Henry McMaster. “We are proud to support the company’s ongoing success and look forward to the impact these 150 new jobs will have in York County.”

To assist with infrastructure and building improvement costs, the state’s Coordinating Council for Economic Development awarded a $100,000 Set-Aside grant to York County.

Local leaders noted that Re:Build’s decision to reinvest in Rock Hill reflects the area’s strong business climate and skilled workforce pipeline.

“Re:Build’s expansion at Legacy Park East is an exciting next step for the company and for Rock Hill,” said Rock Hill Mayor John Gettys. “We’re proud to see an existing member of our business community continue to invest here and create new opportunities for our residents.”

York County Council Chairwoman Christi Cox added that the $20 million investment highlights the region’s growing role in critical national industries, including defense and aerospace.
