- Sophomore Bowen Kicklighter led the Eagles in the opening round, carding a 1-under 70 in his Winthrop debut
- Sophomore Mason Kucia was a shot behind Kicklighter at even par
- It is Kucia’s second round of par or better this season and seventh of his young collegiate career
- Senior Andrew Gregory was next with a 2-over 73
- All the teams that were unable to complete the second round are halfway through the back nine
