Fort Mill Man Arrested on Multiple Child Exploitation Charges

A Fort Mill man is facing multiple felony charges following a joint investigation into the online exploitation of children, state law enforcement officials announced.

George Alexander Toulas, 36, was arrested on July 22, 2026, by Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the York County Sheriff’s Office. South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest, noting that the investigation involved joint support from investigators with the Attorney General’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations, both of which serve as members of the state’s ICAC Task Force.

The case against Toulas began after authorities received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). According to investigators, the lead led to evidence showing Toulas possessed and distributed files containing child sexual abuse material.

Toulas faces five felony charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor:

• Four counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor

• One count of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor

Each of the five felony counts carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison if convicted under state law. The case remains under prosecution by state authorities.
