On July 13, York Preparatory Academy, a charter school in Rock Hill, announced Zach Stahl as its new Athletic Director.
Stahl served as a special education teacher at the academy for eight years. Prior to this role, he operated and coached a high school hockey program in Wheeling, West Virginia.
“York Prep is excited to have Coach Stahl as our new Athletic Director,” Brian Myrup, Managing Director, said in a press release.
“His passion for athletics and student success combined with his experience as a program builder
is exactly what our school needs to help our teams take the next step.”
“I am incredibly excited for this new opportunity and grateful to serve as the next Athletic Director at York Prep Academy,” Stahl said.
“I’m honored to be part of a school with such a strong community and tradition. I look forward to working alongside our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and families as we continue to build on the great foundation already in place. YPA is a special place and I’m eager to get started.”
