The Clemson women’s lacrosse team tied a program record with 20 selections to the All-ACC Academic Women’s Lacrosse Team, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Thursday.
The achievement marks the second consecutive year that Clemson has placed 20 student-athletes on the academic honor roll.
To qualify for the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must post a minimum 3.00 grade-point average for the previous semester and maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA throughout their collegiate careers. Athletically, nominees must compete in at least 50% of their team’s contests during the season.
Four Tigers — Regan Byrne, Kayla MacLeod, Natalie Shurtleff, and Jasmine Stanton — earned the honor for the third time in their careers. Five others were named to the team for the second time.
