FORT MILL, SC, Mac’s Speed Shop will celebrate the grand opening of its new Fort Mill location with a ribbon cutting hosted by the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, June 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The event marks the official opening of the barbecue restaurant’s tenth location, situated at 1954 South Carolina Highway 160. Mac’s Speed Shop has served customers for nearly 20 years and already operates restaurants in Charlotte, Greenville, Matthews, Concord Mills, Lake Norman, Fayetteville, Greensboro, and Raleigh.
Mac’s Speed Shop as offers award winning barbecue, hundreds of beer choices, and a come as you are atmosphere. According to the description, the restaurant aims to welcome everyone, whether white collar, blue collar, or no collar, for what it calls an incredible flavor experience.
The new Fort Mill restaurant will carry the chain’s signature steel and burnt wood design. A bar will connect the indoor dining area to an outdoor patio, and large garage doors will open into the outdoor bar space, creating an open air feel for guests.
