FORT MILL, SC — The Fort Mill School District is pleased to announce the selection of Angela Struve as the next principal of Catawba Ridge High School.
Mrs. Struve has served as assistant principal at Catawba Ridge High School since July 2022. In her current role, she has overseen facility operations, the school’s 4K program, testing coordination, technology initiatives, and student mentoring efforts. Prior to joining the administrative team, she served students as an English teacher at Catawba Ridge High School and Fort Mill High School, and taught Math and English at the district’s alternative school.
A graduate of Fort Mill High School, Mrs. Struve brings both professional experience and a deep personal connection to the Fort Mill community. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in English from Wake Forest University. She later earned a Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in English from Wake Forest University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership with Principal Licensure from Queens University of Charlotte. She has also completed doctoral coursework in Teacher Leadership through Walden University.
Throughout her career in Fort Mill Schools, Mrs. Struve has taken on a variety of leadership roles, including serving as a Blue Ribbon Schools Evaluation Committee Lead, a member of the district discipline committee, and a South Carolina Certified Teacher Evaluator.
Mrs. Struve will begin her new role in July.
