Columbia, S.C. – The South Carolina State Library (State Library) commemorates the 250th anniversary of the American Revolutionary War through a photography exhibit titled “Revolutionary South Carolina: A Photographic Journey by Marie and Eddie Goff”. The exhibit is a collection of photographs highlighting historic places that shaped South Carolina during the American Revolutionary War. “Revolutionary South Carolina: A Photographic Journey by Marie and Eddie Goff” will remain on display at the State Library through the end of June 30.
This year, the State Library commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War with “Revolutionary South Carolina: A Photographic Journey by Marie and Eddie Goff”, a collection of photographs by Marie and Eddie Goff that bring historic grounds to life, capturing both the quiet beauty and lasting significance of the places where history unfolded. Marie, a retired Brigadier General, and Eddie, a retired Colonel, have dedicated their post-military years to exploration and storytelling through photography. Their work reflects not only a passion for travel but also a profound respect for the legacy of those who shaped the nation. This photography collection highlights South Carolina’s central role in the Revolutionary War, inviting viewers to engage with history in a deeply personal, visually immersive way.
