Yellow Jackets Honor Senior Class as Fort Mill Dominates Mid-Week Slate

The Fort Mill High School Yellow Jackets are riding a wave of momentum following a dominant early-week stretch across multiple sports, highlighted by lopsided victories on the pitch and a bounce-back performance on the diamond.

The Yellow Jackets’ soccer programs set the pace on Tuesday, sweeping Northwestern in convincing fashion. The girls’ varsity squad delivered a 9-1 masterclass on the road, while the boys protected home turf with a 5-1 victory. On the softball field, Fort Mill secured back-to-back wins over Northwestern (4-3) and Rock Hill (11-1), proving their resilience in both tight contests and blowouts.

After a tough 9-0 shutout loss to Indian Land on Monday, the varsity baseball team found redemption Wednesday night, edging out the Warriors 2-1 in a defensive battle.
