Edwin Barton Craver, age 76, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. Friends, coworkers, and family knew him as Ed, or Eddie.
The family is hosting a celebration of life at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Wolfe Funeral Home in Fort Mill, with a visitation from 1-2 p.m.
Born in Lexington, NC, Ed was the son of the late James A. Craver, Sr. and Lillian Alexander. He was a graduate of West Davidson High School and North Carolina State University and an employee of Barloworld (formerly Wrenn Handling) in Greensboro, NC, Orlando, FL, and Charlotte, NC. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, golfing, watching football, and seeing his grandchildren grow and have fun. He will be remembered for his steadfast support of his wife and children, his strong work ethic, kindness, and sense of humor.
Ed was preceded in death by his brother, James “Jim” A. Craver, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Gloria Craver; his children, Brad Craver (Misti) and Meredith Mooneyham (Mike); sister, Josephine “Jo” Thomason (Mark); grandchildren, Will (17), Anna (15), Reid (13), and Luke (1).

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida.
