Fort Mill Residents Earn MBAs from Georgia Southwestern State University

AMERICUS, Ga. — Two Fort Mill residents have earned advanced degrees from Georgia Southwestern State University following the school’s fall commencement exercises.

Runzhi He and Michael Wu were among the 551 students recognized during the Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony held on Friday, Dec. 12, in the Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center.

Both He and Wu received a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Thomas Hyslip

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida.
