ROME, Ga. – Two local students have been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements during the Fall 2025 semester at Berry College.
Tate Mack of Tega Cay and Caden Wolf of Fort Mill were named to the college’s Dean’s List.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List at Berry, a student must post an academic average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying a class load of at least 12 credit hours during the semester.
Located in Rome, Georgia, Berry College is an independent, coeducational liberal arts college recognized nationally for its academic excellence. It is known for having the world’s largest campus, spanning approximately 27,000 acres.

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. In 2 short years he has won 10 awards from the South Carolina Press Association, including first place in column writing, education beat reporting and best podcast.
