The Class 5A-D2 post season is in swing for all three Fort Mill high schools, highlighted by a major football rivalry game and a large home dance invitational.
Nation Ford kicks off things tonight as its girls volleyball team travels to Woodmont High School for the semi-finals. The winner of that game will face either North Myrtle Beach or Conway in the finals this Thursday. On Friday, the spotlight will shine brightly on the gridiron as the Fort Mill High School football team heads across town to take on Catawba Ridge at 7:30 PM. Meanwhile, the Nation Ford High School Boys Varsity football team will be on the road Friday, traveling to Greenville High School.
Saturday is set for multiple events. Fort Mill High School will play host to its own FMDT Invitational Dance competition, a Coed Varsity event starting at 9:00 AM in the Fort Mill High School Gym. On the same day, the Catawba Ridge Coed Varsity Cross Country team will be competing at Newberry College for a chance to appear in the state finals later in the month.
