Fort Mill, SC (September 8, 2025) – In a milestone moment for Fort Mill High School athletics, the newly established Girls Flag Football team made an electrifying debut Monday night. In their very first two games, the team delivered decisive victories — a commanding 43‑0 win over South Pointe followed by a strong 26‑0 victory against Nation Ford.

These initial triumphs mark a successful launch to the program’s inaugural season. Players and coaches alike earned praise for their confident, well‑prepared performance across both matchups.

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida.
