Columbia, S.C. (August 29, 2025) – SCDOT requests comments from the public about a proposed bridge replacement project on S-832 (Rowells Road) over Abernathy Creek in York County. The purpose of this project is to correct structural deficiencies of the existing bridge, which is currently closed to traffic.
SCDOT will accept public comments on the proposed project from September 1 to 30, 2025. Visit the project website to learn about the project and submit a comment: projectportal.scdot.org/RowellsRdBridge
