The City of Tega Cay is offering residents a chance to gain a deeper understanding of how their local government operates through a free, four-week course titled Tega Cay 101. The program is designed to introduce participants to various city departments and services.
Tega Cay 101 begins on Tuesday, September 30, and will run weekly through October 21. Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Tega Cay Police Department Training Room, located at 7705 Tega Cay Drive.
The course is open to Tega Cay residents only and is limited to 25 participants. Those interested can register through the City’s website or by visiting the following link: Tega Cay 101 Registration.
Each week will focus on different departments:
-
September 30: Administration
-
October 7: Fire and Police
-
October 14: Parks & Recreation and Public Works
-
October 21: Development Services and Utilities
City officials say the course is an opportunity for residents to learn more about municipal operations, ask questions, and engage directly with department staff.
