SCDOT to close lanes on I-77 Northbound over Cherry Road in York County for bridge repairs

Columbia, S.C. (June 16, 2025)— The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the right lanes of I-77 Northbound at mile marker 82 over Cherry Road in York County for bridge deck repairs beginning around 10 a.m. These repairs are expected to be finished by the end of the day.

Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible. A map of the closure can be found below.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
