The South Carolina High School League (SCHSL) baseball playoffs begin this week, with teams from York and Lancaster counties entering the postseason across multiple classifications and divisions. First-round games are scheduled for May 5 and May 6, and all rounds follow a double-elimination format.
Class AAAAA – Division I
Clover High School earned the No. 8 seed in District 1 and will host Byrnes in the opening round on May 5. The winner advances to face top-seeded Blythewood on May 10.

Class AAAAA – Division II
Three local teams are active in Division II:

Nation Ford (No. 8) hosts Easley (No. 9) in District 1. The winner will play top-seeded Indian Land on May 10.

Fort Mill holds the No. 4 seed and awaits the winner of Northwestern (No. 12) vs. Eastside (No. 5).

Indian Land, entering as the No. 1 seed in District 1, will host its second-round matchup on May 10 against the winner of Nation Ford vs. Easley.

Class AAAA
In Upper State District play:

York Comprehensive High School is seeded No. 11 and travels to Camden (No. 6) in District C.

Lancaster High School is the No. 9 seed in District A and plays at Greer (No. 8).

South Pointe or Hilton Head will face Fountain Inn in District A as the No. 16 seed.
Class AA

Andrew Jackson High School opens the playoffs in Upper State District 4, hosting Blacksburg.
