The Fort Mill High School girls lacrosse team will compete for the South Carolina Class 5A Division 2 state championship today, Saturday, May 3, against Lucy Beckham High School. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. at Irmo High School.

Road to the Championship
Fort Mill secured its spot in the title game with an 18-8 victory over T.L. Hanna in the Upper State final on April 28. Key contributors included Cece Shia, who scored seven goals, and Molly Bennett, who added six. The team enters the championship with a 10-7 overall record and a 6-0 mark in region play.
Lucy Beckham advanced to the championship after a 21-2 win over Socastee in the Lower State final.
