Several students from York and Lancaster counties have been recognized for academic excellence by the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB). The university recently announced its Winter 2024 Chancellor’s List, honoring undergraduate students who achieved a high standard of academic performance.

To be named to the Chancellor’s List, students must be degree-seeking undergraduates and maintain exemplary academic records throughout the term.

The following students from the local area earned this distinction:

  • Bailee Ayers of Sharon

  • Riley Barrett of Clover

  • Carson Conner, Zachary Crimm, Emily Kinnear, and Chloe Williams of Fort Mill

  • Connor Cunnup, Rachel Jerman, Mason Martin, Tangela Phifer, and Kaylee Totherow of Rock Hill

  • Alexis Galloway of York

  • Megan Grohregin and Sophia Stalford of Clover

  • Caylie Ibarra, Duane Jenkins, Geekeyvia McCain, Britnee Venard, and Emma Wittman of Lancaster
