Based on the current forecast and information we have received, all Fort Mill Schools will be open as scheduled on Wednesday, February 18. While the forecast indicates a wintry mix is expected in the afternoon, temperatures are forecasted to remain above freezing at that time, and no significant road impacts are anticipated.
As a precaution, we are sending devices with students who need them and ensuring all necessary materials go home today in case the forecast changes and adjustments to Wednesday’s schedule become necessary.
We are continuing to monitor the forecast for Thursday morning, as there is a possibility of snow or sleet with freezing temperatures. It is too early to determine if this will affect school operations, but we will provide an update as soon as more information becomes available.
As always, the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. We appreciate your patience and will keep you informed of any changes.
