The Rock Hill Community Theatre is celebrating its milestone 50th season with auditions for its production of The 39 Steps: Comedy Play. Local talent is invited to bring their energy and creativity to this fast-paced, Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning production that mixes Hitchcockian suspense with Monty Python-inspired humor.
Auditions are scheduled for Monday, December 16, and Tuesday, December 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rock Hill Community Theatre. Actors aged 18 and older are encouraged to audition for a role in this zany whodunit, which features over 150 characters hilariously performed by a cast of just four actors.
Directed by Taryn Hoyt, The 39 Steps promises nonstop laughs, daring stunts, and a touch of romance. From an onstage plane crash to handcuffs and missing fingers, this production is packed with surprises and theatrical magic.
