Humane Society of York County – Pets of the Week

Cat of the Week:

  • This gorgeous medium length hair Tortie is Acorn Sally!
  • She is fairly new to the rescue and we are just getting to know her.
  • What we know is …
    • She was an owner surrender at no fault of her own … so there’s that she is recooperating from.
    • Her ear is clipped so at one time in her life she was out and about, trapped, clipped and released!
      • Sounds like she’s been through quite enough!
    • Her picture of her expressing her opinion is PRICELESS! She has allot to say in a very quiet tone!
  • She is approximately 5 years old.
  • She is spayed, vaccinated, tested and micro chipped – READY & WAITING!
  • She is just wanting the REAL DEAL – A true constant LOVE OF HER LIFE to walk in and CONNECT.
  • Don’t keep her waiting too long…..
  • If this girl just grabs your heart, please call and make an appointment TODAY 803-802-0902.
  • Our adoption requirements and process can be found on our website at www.thehsyc.

Dog of the Week:

 ANOTHER GORGEOUS SOUL!

  • This beauty is Petunia. She TOO is fairly new to the HSYC.
  • She came in as an owner surrender at NO FAULT of her own.
  • She is approximately 3 years old.
  • We think she has some whippet or grey hound in her. She is the sweetest girl.
  • What we’ve learned is …
    • She is super sweet.
    • Wants to be loved.
    • Isn’t reactive to other dogs in yards.
    • She’s seems more concerned about everyone’s happiness but herself!
  • She is spayed, vaccinated, tested and micro chipped – READY to meet the love of her life.
  • If this beauty melts your heart, call to make an appointment TODAY @ 803-802-0902.
  • Our Adoption parameters can be found on our website www.humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org.
