Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-77 in Fort Mill Causes Major Delays

FORT MILL, S.C. — A multi-vehicle collision, including several semi-trailers, disrupted traffic on northbound Interstate 77 near Sutton Road early Monday morning, causing significant delays for commuters heading toward south Charlotte.

The crash occurred shortly after 6 a.m., involving six vehicles, including multiple 18-wheelers. The York County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that several individuals were injured, though the extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.

Traffic backups stretched for miles as emergency crews worked to clear the scene, leading to substantial delays for morning commuters. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
