As early voting concluded on November 2nd, final turnout numbers reveal strong participation from York County voters in South Carolina’s early voting period. In York County, 99,679 voters—50.81% of registered voters—took advantage of early in-person voting. This significant turnout demonstrates a growing trend of voters opting for early voting to avoid long lines and secure their vote ahead of Election Day.
Statewide, early voting numbers reached a record high, with 1,471,663 of South Carolina’s 3,444,376 registered voters casting their ballots early. This represents 42.72% of voters across the state, underscoring South Carolina’s increasing embrace of early voting options.
