Humane Society of York County – Pets of the Week

Cat of the Week:

  • This handsome boy is Meadows!
  • As he gets decked out for his Fall picture, you see he’s being a good sport!!!
  • Meadow came to the HSYC as a stray, was adopted and unfortunately returned because he and the resident cat didn’t mesh!
  • We estimate his age to be around 5.5 years old. The beautiful benefits of an adult cats is…
    • He knows what he likes and doesn’t like!
  • He’d prefer to be the only feline in the house unless the resident feline is submissive allowing his true LION to showoff.
  • He’s been back at the HSYC now for 5 weeks. He’s re-cooperating from another trauma of coming back to the HSYC.
  • Let’s focus on finding this handsome boy his  TRUE FURever home.
  • He’s ISO a home where he can listen to all your stories, love on his terms and just be the handsome boy he’s meant to be.
  • He is neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and tested.
  • He’s waiting for YOU to come find him.
  • If Meadows pulls at your heart today, call to make an appointment, 803-802-0902!
Our adoption requirements and process can be found on our website at www.thehsyc.

Dog of the Week:

  • This precious girl is Lana del Rey!
  • Lana is full of love and affection.
  • Lana came to the HSYC as a stray. She was so in need of attention but after a little loving and spa treatment, a beauty emerged.
  • This girl is just an absolute sweetheart. Interested in loving, playing, living life large with her new true FURever!
  • We estimate Lana to be around 1 year old … so what you see is what you get unless of course you administer too many treats! Not advised! J
  • We’d estimate her to be a sturdy girl of about 35-40 lbs.
  • We cannot say enough about this beauty’s personality.
    • She gets along well with other pooches.
    • She’s playful, silly, and would love to take training class with her new person.
  • She is spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped and tested.
  • Her amazing eyes will melt your heart without a doubt.
  • If Lana Del Rey melts your heart, call to make an appointment TODAY 803-802-0902.
  • Our Adoption parameters can be found on our website www.humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org.
