Adrian Paredes Carrillo Named Fort Mill High School Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Adrian Paredes Carrillo, a senior on the Fort Mill High School (FMHS) swim team, for being named the FMHS Athlete of the Week!  He showcased his versatility by placing first in the 200 IM, 200 Medley Relay, and the 400 Free Relay. Additionally, he secured second place in the 100 Butterfly.

This Athlete of the Week award is sponsored by the Fort Mill Jackets Athletic Booster Club and Super Chix. Their support highlights the importance of community involvement in celebrating the accomplishments of student-athletes like Adrian.

Thomas Hyslip

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. In 2 short years he has won 10 awards from the South Carolina Press Association, including first place in column writing, education beat reporting and best podcast.
