Vote Absentee By Mail 

Last Day to Register to Vote:

  • In-Person: Friday, October 4, 2024 @ 5:00 p.m.
  • Online: Sunday, October 6, 2024 @ 11:59 p.m.
  • USPS Postmarked Mail: Monday, October 7, 2024

  • Current and Valid Photo IDs are required for In-Person Voting. 

Early Voting

Early Voting begins on Monday, October 21, 2024 and runs thru Saturday, November 2, 2024. 

Voters can visit any early voting center during the early voting period, present their Photo ID, and vote using the voting system like they would at their polling place on election day. Early Voting Turn-out via SCVOTES.gov

Vote Absentee By-Mail?

Contact the York County Election Office at 803.684.1242, by USPS postal mail, or visit in-person to request an Absentee Application. Last day to request an Absentee By-Mail ballot is October 25, 2024, at 5pm  Voted Absentee By-Mail ballots can be returned during the operational hours of an Early Voting Center or to the Board of Voter Registration and Elections Office before 7pm on Election Day. Ballots that arrive after 7pm on Election Day, by law, cannot be counted.
